Just in time for the beauty of fall, Scrapbook Generation has received the "Autumn Splendor" collection by Paper Loft! Lots of double-sided papers and matching cut-outs.

Farmer's Market by Daisy Bucket is a great collection for making recipe books or using to embellish holiday gifts of homemade goodies, in addition to being a great group for scrapbook pages involving food of any kind. There are several smaller sets of clear stamps, and my favorite, spools of twine (more is arriving Thursday!).

Scrapbook Generation's two fall "Trick or Treat" retreats in Branson are over, but the memories will live on! We had a full house both weekends, and after days of scrapbooking fun, everyone headed home with newly-created pages, cards, and mini-albums. And possibly, a couple of extra pounds from all the good food we enjoyed! We're already planning our two spring retreats in Branson, and by popular request, if we can find the right place, we'll be adding a third retreat in the Lake of the Ozarks area both in the spring and in the fall! Keep watching here, our website, and our Facebook page for up-to-the-minute announcements about retreats and other SG events.
Without a doubt, we have an awesome caterer for the Scrapbook Generation retreats. She creates the food and dining area decorations to coordinate with our theme, and many of us make sure we get photos of her spreads before we'll let anyone start through the buffet! Her meals are as delicious as they are a feast for the eyes.
We also have snack buffets both evenings at our retreats. Karin makes some yummy cookies and brownies and salsa dip, and we also have some healthy snacks, although I must admit that I always bypass them! On Saturday afternoon, we also treat everyone to an ice-cream sundae bar! The beautifully carved jack-o-lanterns on the buffet and other "spooky" decorations were loaned to us by good friend Lynn Martin!
The following photos show the talented ladies who won the page layout, card, and mini-album contests at both retreats. There were eight categories, with the SG staff choosing winners in four categories and the retreat-goers voting for winners in the other four categories. We're always thrilled to see the work of so many talented scrapbookers on display!
Retreat-goers had five classes to choose from, including three classes by Creating Keepsakes Dream Team member Allison Davis. There were layout classes and mini-album classes, and class members learned new techniques and used new products. Our Branson facility has a breakout room that is just the perfect size for classes!
