Here's the first installment of my "Vintage Treasures" class series, titled "Food and Family." For this first class, we're using Graphic 45 papers from the Domestic Goddess collection and adding in some Prima flowers, Glimmer Mist, Tim Holtz metal accents, glossy cardstock, alcohol inks, and metal mixatives that blend with alcohol ink! We'll also use the EK Success slim edger border punches. There is room for three family recipes, and for four pictures, just the size of most older photos. The classes are Monday, Oct. 12 at 6 pm, and Thursday, Oct. 15 at 2 pm. Cost is $15.

The idea for this class is to repeat and reinforce the Tim Holtz products that Allison shows us all how to use in her Tim Holtz Techniques class of the month. I've learned her alcohol ink techniques, and I'll be passing those along! This month, she is featuring Tim Holtz distress ink techniques in her classes later this month. We'll have a photo for you soon!

There are lots of new products on the way, and most will arrive this week!
-- Prima: flowers and other goodies;
-- Creative Imaginations: many, many collections in a variety of themes;
-- Pink Paislee: Mistletoe & Co.;
-- BasicGrey: Eskimo Kisses (arriving Wednesday);
-- Crate Paper: all four new collections;
-- We R Memory Keepers: Teen Angst, Geohectic, and Merry and Bright collections (arriving Thursday);
-- Dream Street: a fall collection (arriving Thursday);
-- KaiserCraft: seven collections including Christmas, travel, and more (arriving Thursday);
-- My Mind's Eye: all the fourth quarter release!
