Another great feature of the event was the enormous popularity of the three free mini-classes that were taught all day long by Nikki, her graphic designer Heather Schroeder, and her good friend and talented local scrapbooker Katrina Hunt. The three of them were on their feet for seven hours non-stop helping SG customers make cute projects, learn new techniques, and just generally have fun!
And who can forget the giant chocolate fountain! We just absolutely had a wonderful time, and we all decided this will be a regular feature at SG! We're also so fortunate to have so many of you who gave us all wonderful comments on Facebook. I'm going to excerpt some of them here.
-- "Enjoyed coming in today! Thanks for hosting Nikki. She was adorable and we enjoyed her projects."
-- "It was a great day and a great turnout, too. Glad you were able to have that chocolate fountain going. Thanks for all you do to provide fun times for all your customers!"
-- "Wow, time just flew and everyone was rocking the projects!"
-- "What a day I'd say. Oh what fun. I think we should have that fountain at the retreat."
-- "Thanks SG and Nikki for all the fun and goodies...a great way to start the day!"
-- "Had a blast! You guys are the BEST!"
-- "I had sooo much fun today, and cute layouts! Thank you so much!"
-- "Ditto, me too girls. You rocked today."
-- "Thanks for putting together such a fun day! I was amazed at how many people could fit in your store...You all put so much effort into keeping things fun and fresh. You are fabulous role models as women entrepreneurs. Many thanks!"
No, Katrina Hunt and Allison Davis did not know that each other would show up with hair ornaments they had made from the latest Prima flowers!
