We're thrilled to announce Scrapbook Generation's CREATE team for 2014. These talented scrapbookers and papercrafters will be featured each month in CREATE, SG's free digital magazine set to debut January 13.
The bottom row contains the two sets of sisters that make up SG and are familiar faces on this blog. The big picture: Karin oversees the Springfield store and clubs and Stacey oversees the online store and technology and shipping. Allison creates books and sketches and classes and kits and inspirational blog posts. Debbie designs sketches and kits and also takes care of ordering and marketing. All four will be designing projects for CREATE.
Allison will be contributing a large amount of editorial material for CREATE. She's written articles for Creating Keepsakes, and been a CK Dream Team member, Hall of Fame member, and Scrapbooker of
the Year finalist.
She created the Sketch Support website, and has been an instructor at CK
conventions, an online instructor at My Creative Classroom, and is the author of
14 best-selling sketch books. She is a past member of the Fancy Pants design team and also designed sketches for BasicGrey. Allison is a current member of the Simple Stories Life Documented design team, creating monthly sketches for them.
The ladies on the top three rows are going to introduce themselves to you below. You'll be seeing lots of their work in the coming months, and we think you'll love what they can do!

"I love art and photography and love to combine those passions with the hobby of scrapbooking. I love that I can combine the artistic side of myself and the 'storytelling' side of myself in order to preserve memories for my children. I have a nine-year-old and a four-year-old, both girls, and love to tell their stories.
My style is simple and clean, usually quite linear, but slightly eclectic. I come from an architecture background, so there is a definite 'linear' feel to most of my scrap pages. I love the challenge that scrapbooking provides as well as the relaxation of just indulging my creative side. I love that moment when everything comes together in a way that just feels right.
I have been featured by Basic Grey, Scrapstreet’s magazine, Club Creating Keepsakes, Two Peas in a Bucket, and Ella Publishing. I had a layout published in Creating Keepsakes magazine and was on the Sketch Support design team. Besides scrapbooking, I love spending time with my family, church, cooking/baking, traveling, photography, reading and coffee…lots of coffee. I also tend to be an information junkie in all different avenues of life."

"Papercrafting is my passion and favorite pastime! I have been scrapbooking and cardmaking since 2003. I have been in love with creating art all my life. I started with crayons and construction paper and now I create scrapbooks/altered papercrafts. I am addicted to this craft and I love every minute. I work at Scrapbook Generation by day and scrapbook at night.
I enjoy teaching classes and design a monthly card club for Scrapbook Generation. I've been published in Cricut magazine, guest-designed for October Afternoon, and have an exclusive line of acrylic stamps with Lil' Inker Designs."

"I'm a mum, an IT nerd and I love scrapbooking. I live down under in Australia with my husband and two kids. I have been scrapbooking a long time, but only started sharing online in early 2013 and so far it is a wonderful and encouraging experience.
I discovered SG and adore it! I
love sketches and bright happy colours. I love both pocket and my
traditional layouts, occasional mini-albums and even a little bit of
hybrid scrapbooking. I pretty much will put my hand to anything.
I am
currently on the Life.Paper.Scrapbook magazine design team, the Sketch Support
team, Polly Scrap Kits design team, Practical Scrappers and of course, the CREATE
magazine team."

"I started scrapbooking in 2009. I actually started digital, but then the paper took over. I have been on several design teams and I am super excited to be joining the CREATE team. The dogs are my main subjects, and I like to show that you don't have to have kids to scrap. I love to scrap about everyday things, also. Patterned paper and layers are my best friends, along with my Silhouette Cameo. I am lucky that Scrapbook Generation is my 'home' store and only five minutes from my house!
I’m currently on the Therm O Web Adhesives, WorldWin Papers and Imaginisce design teams. My past design team work includes Sketch Support; Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker; The Twinery; and GCD Studios."

"I am a wife, a full-time mom to two active little boys ages one and three, and an avid crafter. For me, scrapbooking started in high school when I collected ticket stubs, pamphlets, etc. from all events that I attended. Whenever possible, I like to add these items to my layouts with the corresponding photos. I am constantly adding to my series of chronological scrapbook albums and I also love creating themed paper party decorations like banners and table centerpieces.
Other than crafting, I love to travel with my boys to visit relatives and taking way more photos than I ever have time to scrap."

"I live in Port Elizabeth on the east coast of South Africa. I have been married to Kobus for the past 35 years and we have three grown children. We have been blessed with six beautiful grandchildren who are also the subject of most of my scrapping.
My husband and I founded a non-profit organization that provides for the needs of nearly 600 homeless and poor people whom we house at the Mission. This work is very stressful and emotional and scrapbooking provides me with much needed stress-relief. I started scrapbooking in 2005 and was instantly hooked. I love that my hobby can give me so much pleasure and at the same time create a legacy for my children and grandchildren.
Until recently I preferred doing only layouts that can be slipped into my albums. I have now developed a love for mini-albums as gifts to my loved ones and also love making handmade cards."

"I am a stay at home mom to three boys that keep me very busy! They are involved in all kinds of activities (mainly sports) that keep me and the whole family on the go. I've been scrapbooking since I was 12 after a trip to California, but in the current style since right before my eldest son was born in 2001.
In January of 2011 I decided to get involved online, add my projects to galleries and submit for publication. I've been fortunate to have my projects published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends and Cards. In addition to scrapbooking I enjoy reading and photography."

"I live in Birmingham, Alabama, with my husband of 35 years and one very spoiled chocolate Labrador. I have three grown children, and four amazing grandsons, who I adore! I began scrapbooking about 14 years ago when a friend gave me a gift card to the local scrapbook store. The rest, as they say, is history.
When I'm not creating layouts, I also enjoy traveling and photography. I'm so excited and very honored to be a part of the CREATE team!"

"My husband and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and have been married for nearly 18 years. He whole-heartedly supports my scrapbook obsession, to the point of building onto our house so that I could have a dedicated scrap space. We have two pretty awesome boys who are the subjects of most of my pages. I also enjoy scrapbooking our family adventures (especially if it's outdoors), everyday life and, more recently, our pets -- we just adopted a puppy this summer!
I started scrapbooking nearly 15 years ago and can barely remember what I did with myself before then. I dabbled in sewing, cross-stitching and painting ceramics but nothing really captured me like this hobby. Funny how those previous hobbies and their tools have proven useful in my scrapbooking, too!
I have been fortunate to have been published in
Creating Keepsakes on three occasions. I have also been a member of
several online design teams as well as a designer for Craft Warehouse, a
northwest chain of craft stores. The items I created for Craft
Warehouse were on display in their stores throughout Oregon, Washington
and Idaho. I am very excited for this brand new adventure in my
scrapbooking life and the wonderfully talented people I will have the
opportunity to work alongside!"

"Well, I guess it’s a given that I love scrapbooking, cardmaking and anything to do with paper! I also love to draw, cook and take everyday life pictures, which all come in handy with my scrapbooking, too. I’m a step-mom to Henry (18) and a dog-mom to three dogs that all are a huge part of my scrapbook pages.
I’ve been scrapbooking for over 20 years, before it was even popular and when you had to cut images out of magazines. I’m thrilled to be a part of the fun and new Create team!"
What a great team! Looking forward to seeing all the great pages they will create!
