Welcome to the SG Sketch Lovers Blog Hop!

Welcome to the SG Blog Hop for December. A large group of scrapbookers have beautiful creations just waiting for you to hop over and take a look!

All of the layouts you'll see are based on an SG sketch by Allison Davis or Debbie Sanders. SG sketches are available in digital books and hardcopy books, plus we have a huge variety of sketches that can be purchased individually or in small groups. (Click here to shop for sketches.)

Layout above is by Debbie Sanders:
I'm going to start things off with a layout I made using a sketch from Allison's "6x6 Paper Pad" class. Recently, I joined a lovely group of 50-60 ladies on a forum who were taking the class together and sharing their work and encouraging each other. This is one of the layouts I made during that time.

Because I was working with a limited amount of older photos, I switched things up a bit so that I could work with what I had available. Great thing about sketches -- that's always totally doable! One feature I really like is that I scanned my mother's handwriting from the photo album she had made of my baby pictures and included that on the page instead of one of the photos.

Leave a comment on each blog and one lucky commenter will receive a free sketch bundle of their choice from Scrapbook Generation's online store. The winner will be drawn on December 9, so you have one week to leave a comment.

In case you get lost at any point, here is the list all the blogs.
