Sweet and Simple page kits, four new ones, are available at Scrapbook Generation, as of today. There are two kits using the BasicGrey LilyKate collection (one with a pink emphasis, one with green), one kit using Daisy D's fall paper collection, and one kit featuring black, red, and a huge flower.

We also received a new paper group from K & Company. The Peabody group showcases mauves and pale greens, and a lightly distressed look.

The October/November newsletter is going in the mail tomorrow, and I think you'll be excited to see the class schedule. It's filled with great projects for Halloween, fall, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. With our teaching staff expanding to 9 people, there is, to use a cliche', something for everyone. Early next week, descriptions and photos of the class projects for October will be posted on this blog.

Also just in: an addition to the Christmas and winter lines of papers by Reminisce.

While I was gone last weekend to a scrapbook retreat, Scrapbook Generation got the shipment I had anxiously been awaiting...Crate Paper. There are four stylish paper groups, with matching letter stickers, and die cut monograms. This line was one of my favorites of all the papers we saw at CHA in Chicago this summer. There's just something about the muted colors, and the unique combinations, that make this brand a standout.

For all those Karen Foster lovers, we also received all the new groups, including bedtime, pirate, sleep over, Hawaii, Halloween, dog, karate, soccer, coach, football, referee, and tennis. There are papers and cardstock stickers to match.

And if you didn't get a chance to see the Daisy D's fall collection of papers, monograms, and flower die cuts (which all vanished pretty fast), we have a new supply, and we've added the school papers and stickers to match.

This past weekend my friend Hazel Stuart and I attended a weekend crop at Lake of the Ozarks. We go twice a year to this great event hosted by Jane Hunt, one of the Design Team members at Scrapbook Generation. Like always, Hazel completed about 20 pages, and I did 5 -- and we were both happy! We stayed up late, ate too much, laughed and giggled, and just generally had fun working on our pages.

I did one spread of my husband Don's new Harley, mainly because I'm trying to make up for the retreat falling on his birthday this year!

The other pages I worked on were of grandson Drew's first haircut, and of his first birthday. I thought I would share my favorite with you.

Got Flowers? We do!
Today, Scrapbook Generation received about half of our summer CHA order from Prima, and it's a great half. It may be news to some of you that Prima now has paper. We have beautiful double-sided papers from three groupings: Eire, Petal Power, and Odyssey. We also have collection kits which include paper, rub-ons, and die cuts. Other goodies include chipboard letters to match the papers, flowers, and matching ribbon sets. We received several cases of two styles of Got Flowers, so we have 24 different color combinations to choose from.

To make a good day better, we also received the Biggest Board and Big Board chipboard sets from Fancy Pants. If you like chipboard, you'll love these 12x12 embellishments in scroll and flower shapes.

And to top off the day, we're working our way through over 200 embellishments from Jolee's, EK Success, Sticko, Soft Spoken, Karen Foster, K & Company, and more. Themes include sports, hunting, fishing, pets, western, zoo, dance, pirates, family, baby, wedding, anniversary, medical, dental, birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, fall, Fourth of July, military, spring, Easter, love, Valentine's, religion, food and drink, and music.
