BasicGrey loves Missouri gals!
I don't know when I'll get over the thrill of seeing Allison Davis (Ali to me) featured as the sketch artist for the BasicGrey online newsletter! The newsletter just went out yesterday, and after Allison's "basic sketch" page, guess who designed the "basic inspiration" project and is featured on the next page...Tammy Tutterow of St. Louis. We're so fortunate that Tammy will be at SG both Friday and Saturday teaching classes! Congrats to both super-talented Missouri gals!
Join us Saturday for free mini-classes with Tammy Tutterow!
Don't forget that from 3-5 pm on Saturday, Tammy Tutterow will be showing us how to make "fragment pendants." You'll learn the basics of using Ranger's alcohol inks on Tim Holtz acrylic fragments. Then, combine the fragments with stamping and vintage book papers for a pendant perfect for a necklace or bracelet! The best part...it's all free!

Join us Saturday for the Debbie Sanders sketch sessions...

We hope you can join us Saturday and make this cute layout at the Debbie Sanders free sketch sessions. The sessions are held at 10, 11:30, 1, and 2:30. Your cost to make this layout will be about $4, and you'll also receive a free computer sketch of the design that you can use over and over. As always, if these papers don't work for you, simply choose and pay for others at SG. To pre-register, just give us a call at 417-886-0440.

Can't attend but would like a kit? We would be happy to fix one for you. The fee is $5 and is due when the kit request is made.

Special note to Super Sketch Club members: Yes, the materials for this layout will be included with your November kit!
New My Mind's Eye 'Fine and Dandy' collections...

Whole lotta fluffin' going on...
If you were at Scrapbook Generation at the end of the day Saturday, you would know how sad the store looked after our birthday celebration. Whole rows of empty paper trays. Empty areas on the wall displays. No more! It's taken us a couple of days, but things are starting to look more puffy! All these new groups are out and ready for purchase, and we have lots more items that will be out soon (KI Memories, BoBunny, Creative Imaginations, Stampers Anonymous, and more!).

We R Memory Keepers: White Christmas

Jillibean Soup: Christmas Chestnut Soup

Fancy Pants: Tradition

BasicGrey: Marjolaine and Curio

KaiserCraft: Lush; After Five; and Up, Up and Away

Little Yellow Bicycle: Savor

American Crafts: Heat Wave
Don't forget your 'fun photos!'

If you were with us last Friday night for photo fun with the Fiskateers and Ken, be sure to stop by SG and get your photo! I'm not sure what Laura Ashcraft had in mind in this photo, but there was lots of silliness going on, and we have proof of it all. Your free photos are waiting!
It's time to think Christmas...

Allison has an extra-special class coming up for all you Christmas lovers! Her Christmas Tree Mini-Album class has two times to choose from, and both are almost full. She has room for just a couple more people in both time slots. (Also, the color in the photo above is a little off. The yellow areas are actually more golden than yellow.) You'll start with a cute Maya Road chipboard album, then add the fun new product Glimmer Glam and papers from BasicGrey's Jovial collection for a keepsake just waiting for photos of holiday fun.

If you are interested in signing up, just give us a call at 417-886-0440. Class dates and times are Monday, November 15 at 6 pm and Monday, November 22 at 2 pm. The class fee is only $15!
Couple of spots left in 'Deco Debutante Box Canvas" class this Friday evening...

Although guest teacher Tammy Tutterow's Saturday class is full, we do still have a couple of spots left in the Friday evening class, "Deco Debutante Box Canvas." In this class, you'll take a stretched canvas from plain to wow with products including Graphic 45 papers, Tim Holtz Idea-ology items, Prima flowers, and fun vintage goodies. You'll learn basic how-to's for altering and creating decor items, and fun distressing techniques. The class is at 6 pm, and the fee is $30. Give us a call at 417-886-0440 if you want one of the last spots!

The Great Chipboard Canister Caper!

Just in case you haven't heard yet, I'm slightly less than perfect! Here's the whole story...
The people who received the first 200 numbers at our birthday celebration were given totes with a variety of goodies inside, including a canister of chipboard letters by Crate Paper. Here's where things got crazy! Some of the canisters were empty! So, apologies if you are one of the people who had a number from 1-200 and you ended up with a disappointing, empty, boring canister of nothing! I think this probably affects only about 20-30 people, but if one of them is you, please accept our/my apology! If you live close to us, just drop by the store and we'll give you the correct canister. If you live too far away to do that, just drop me an email with your name and address and we'll ship the correct canister to you.
