It's rapidly approaching...one of our favorite days of the year: National Scrapbooking Day. And if you've been following along, you know that our celebration is expanding to include an entire week!
We're putting the final touches on goodie bags, free layout kits, and free mini-classes, and polishing up our contests and challenges. It's going to be a fantastic week of fun and activities and shopping, with local and online scrapbooking friends!
Thanks to you, our Springfield store has grown over the years, and our online store is doing the same. It's just been a little over three months since we launched our expanded website, and when the avalanche of new products arriving for NSD is added to scrapbookgeneration.com, we'll have nearly 8,000 items available for purchase.
We love it when you can visit in person, but if you can't do that, we're well on our way to being able to offer you one of the best online shopping and shipping experiences available.

• Names and layouts of random winners will be posted on the blog.
• Selected layouts from each of the challenges will be published in the June issue of CREATE.
Pinterest Contest (runs April 28 - May 3)
• Follow Scrapbook Generation on Pinterest.
• Create a board called "Scrapbook Generation."
• Pin the four following items from the Scrapbook Generation Pinterest page: a CREATE magazine cover, an SG sketch book cover, a double-page layout, and a single-page layout.
• Those who complete the Pinterest challenge will be entered to win a prize package valued at over $100.
Instagram Contest (runs April 28 - May 3)
• Follow scrapbook_generation on Instagram.
• Upload a photo of yourself that highlights what you love about SG (examples: visiting the store, showing a layout made from an SG kit, with your go-to SG sketch book, with an online order you received...get creative!)
• Must include tag #LOVESG to qualify.
• Those who complete the Instagram challenge will be entered to win a prize package valued at over $100.
Facebook Contest (takes place May 3)
• Like Scrapbook Generation (many of you have already completed this step).

April Sketch Day Two layouts...
LOCAL CUSTOMERS:
Please join us Saturday, April 19 for Saturday sketch sessions by Allison Davis (top layout) and Debbie Sanders (bottom layout).
How it works:
• Pre-register for sessions at 10am or 2pm by calling 417-886-0440 or emailing karin@scrapbookgeneration.com;
• Bring basic tools and adhesives;
• Receive two free computer sketches;
• Make one double-page layout, your favorite of the two choices;
• Pay for papers used -- the total usually comes to a little over $4.
Options:
• To make both layouts, order a duplicate set of paper when you register. Order must be placed prior to the Saturday class.
• To purchase the embellishment add-on (shown below), order it when you register. (This embellishment is not used on the layout samples shown above.) All embellishment add-on orders must be placed prior to the Saturday class.
Kits:
• Purchase kits through SG's online store. (Not available for shipping or pick-up at SG until Monday, April 21.)
• The fee for a kit is $6. Shipping is an additional $6.99.
• The best deal for our long-distance customers? Join the monthly Super Sketch Club and get the Super-Saver three layout kit, the Sketch Day One layout kit, and the Sketch Day Two layout kit (materials and sketches for five double-page layouts plus two bonus sketches -- a $24 value) for $20 plus $6.99 shipping.
SUPER SKETCH CLUB MEMBERS:
Options:
• To occasionally make both layouts, order a duplicate set of paper from SG's online store.
• To always make both layouts, enroll in "Super Sketch Club Double Up." For an additional $10 per month, receive a duplicate set of materials for the Sketch Day One and Sketch Day Two portions of the club. (You will be able to make both Allison layouts and both Debbie layouts.)
• You can order an embellishment that coordinates with the layouts. The embellishment this week is a $1.99 sheet of cardstock stickers. This embellishment is not used on the layout samples. (Add-on does not increase your shipping fee!)
