I made a huge mistake in the June/July newsletter, regarding the dates for classes to be taught by guest teacher Tammy Tutterow. The calendar is correct, with her classes on Friday evening, June 11 and Saturday morning, June 12. (The article on the front page and the class description on page two both have the wrong dates. Sorry for any confusion...I'm usually a better proofreader than that.)
I'll be posting photos of the two class projects in the next couple of days, and the Saturday class model is already here at Scrapbook Generation so you can see the real thing. This is such a wonderful opportunity for all of us to learn from an expert in papercrafting who can share her love for all things vintage with us!
Another great thing about Tammy is that she is the daughter of Shirley Hall, well-known to many scrapbookers in this area. Shirley is a member of our Designers Challenge Club, and after seeing her detailed and creative projects, it's easy to see that Tammy comes by her talents naturally.

Just heard some exciting news this morning from one of our customers, and congratulations are definitely in order. Local gal Tammy Roberts has been chosen for the Graphic 45 Design Team! I know the competition for those spots had to be tremendous, since it's such a popular brand. The best part for us: Tammy is going to bring in some of the projects she's made with Graphic 45 products so that we can display them here at Scrapbook Generation. I know that we'll all enjoy seeing them close up!

Designers Challenge Club members, don't forget that we meet tonight at 6 pm to share our projects from the April packet. And best of all, Laura Parks just posted on Facebook that she's bringing her gourmet mini-cupcakes to share! Can't wait.

And here's a heads-up on the June-July newsletter. It's probably going to be mailed on Thursday or Friday, so be watching for it. There are some exciting activities for both months that I'm anxious for you to know about.
A week ago, I gave an update on our June 26 Scrap-A-Palooza numbers. Since that time, almost 50 more spots have been spoken for! Don't forget that last time, we sold-out a few weeks prior to the event. We don't want any of our regulars to be left out of the fun. To register, use the link at right to our website, then click on Springfield mega-crops and there is a link to redirect you to the Midwest Family Broadcast Groups registration page.

There are other great parts of the deal!
-- Allison designed two layouts that can both be made from the same set of papers. We chose a sherbet-colored set by SEI.
-- She's also made stitching templates that you'll be getting free, plus we're throwing in the embroidery floss for free as well!
-- And best of all, your papers are 50% off. The cost for both layouts will be only about $2.50. Can't beat that!
We already have over 50 people signed up, but there's always room for more. We'll open up our secondary seating area if necessary, like we do for the Super-Saver Saturdays. Just call us at 417-886-0440 to register for the sessions at 10, 11:30, 1, or 2:30. (Can't attend but want a kit prepared for you? Kits for sketch sessions are now a set fee of $5 beginning this month.)

We received a beautiful shipment today from Webster's Pages. Softly-shaded vintage papers and embellishments, including cute boxes of journaling cards, sparkly "pebbles," fabric borders, and the most gorgeous by-the-yard fabric roses you've ever seen! Can't wait to see what can be created with this stuff!

BasicGrey: The Max and Whiskers collections is a huge hit. It arrived on Thursday, and by the time I got here today to take pictures, several of the embellishments were already gone. Never fear, I've already re-ordered them! I like this group because there are some papers for pets, but also lots of other papers that can be used for other topics. Love the colors!
Creative Imaginations: There are travel groups for the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and the Smoky Mountains.
Best Creations: A new glittery graduation group from BC! Plus several graduation albums and embellishments from other companies.
Arriving next week:
• Maya Road: Cute chipboard and a few more colors of Maya Mist.
• Websters Pages: Beautiful new vintage items.
• We R Memory Keepers: The latest monthly shipment of a huge new collection. Don't know what it looks like, but it will be great!
• Fancy Pants: A father-son collection.

Start thinking and planning! On Tuesday, June 1 at 10 am, registration opens for Scrapbook Generation's fall retreats in Branson. If you attended one of our spring retreats, you can call or stop by and pay your $50 deposit to hold your spot for the weekend of October 15-17 or the weekend of October 22-24.
Any spots not filled in June by past guests will be up for grabs starting Thursday, July 1 at 10 am.
New arrivals:
The cute Max and Whiskers dog and cat collection from BasicGrey arrived yesterday. Even if you don't have pets, there are still some great papers for general pages!

The photos above show the layout we'll be making on Saturday. You'll have enough paper left to make not just one card from the bonus sketch, but two! (And as always at our sketch sessions, you can choose other papers to purchase if these don't work for you.) With your half-off paper offer and free title, you'll be making this layout and two cards for less than $2.25!
Bonus Reminder: If you attend three of the four sketches sessions in April and May, you receive your choice of spring-themed page kits, a $12.99 value.
We hope you can join us this Saturday. To sign up for a session (10, 11:30, 1, or 2:30) just call SG at 417-886-0440. See you then!
And don't forget that this is "Sketches Week" on Allison's blog. She has some gorgeous and creative layouts for you to view all week, with lots of details about her creative process.
