Employee of the month!
Karin wins SG's award for holding down the fort by herself the past couple of days, and for actually getting the February club kits shipped today...on time, despite the nasty weather! She said she made it to the post office with about five minutes to spare, then her 10-minute drive home turned into an hour-and-a-half journey since it started to snow again and several of the roads became one-lane messes.

We will see you at SG on Saturday for the Super-Saver sessions, and will be open from 10-5, but please don't venture out if you have any concerns at all about your safety. We can easily make a kit for you!

New products from CHA start arriving next week...
I know that you're excited about seeing all the new products we've ordered following the CHA Winter show, and the goodies are ready to start rolling in. First to arrive: all the new collections by My Mind's Eye! They arrive on Tuesday, and should be out on the shelves by Wednesday!
Slowly digging out...
Karin has been at the store today and will be there until 2 pm. She's been doing a brisk business over the phone, with both lines ringing a lot of the time! Sounds like many of you are ready for a Saturday at SG...she's been signing up people for the Super-Savers like crazy. At this point, there are only a few spots left in the 10 am session!

She's also taken care of getting the parking lot cleared, so we're in pretty good shape for a big crowd on Saturday. There aren't many people stirring today, however, so we've decided that we'll only be open Friday from 10-4. We'll be back to our regular hours on Saturday.

Karin is going to brave the roads Thursday!
Karin will try to make it to SG on Thursday and have the store open from 10-2. She can take your registration calls for Saturday's Super-Saver sessions. We're hoping to be open regular hours on Friday, but please check here to make sure before heading out!
February Super-Saver Scrapbooking layouts...

Here's a look at the three layouts we'll be making Saturday, February 5 in the Super-Saver Scrapbooking sessions at Scrapbook Generation. The materials include double-sided papers and stickers by BoBunny. As always, your cost to make these three layouts at SG is an amazing $9. Give us a call to register and pre-pay. Sessions are held at 10, 12:30 and 2:30. And don't forget that you'll get one punch on your Studio G Reward Card. Don't have a card yet? No problem...we'll make sure you get one!

If you can't attend and would like us to make you a kit, the fee is $10 and is due at the time you request the kit.

Note to Super-Sketch Club members: Yes, materials for these three layouts will be included in your February kit!

Closed Wednesday...
Scrapbook Generation will be closed Wednesday as the Ozarks tries to dig out from this huge snowstorm. I hope you don't have to venture out into this mess!
Blizzard!
Hope that today finds you all safe and warm in your homes...maybe some of you are even finding time to scrapbook. My project for this so-welcome snow day is to work on cleaning up the disaster area that I call my scrapbook room!

Here in Mansfield, it doesn't really have the blizzard feel yet, several hours of sleet with a couple of inches of snow, so far. I'll have to check in later with Karin in Springfield to see what she thinks about being open Wednesday. From what I've seen on the news, it is worse there than it is here.

As soon as I get my work table unburied, I'll start to work on the three Super-Saver layouts for this Saturday. We'll be using the BoBunny Crush collection of papers and stickers. As soon as I have the layouts completed sometime on Wednesday, I'll post the photos here.

Super Sketch Club kits are on the way!
For a while I didn't think we were going to make it, but Karin and Stacey and Allison and I managed to get the hundreds and hundreds of Super Sketch Club kits off to the post office just now. One of the papers didn't arrive until 1 pm today, so it was literally a whirwind around here.

As far as the February club kits, there was just no way to get them shipped before our "significant" winter event tonight and Tuesday. Since they normally don't ship until the 3rd or 4th of the month anyway, nothing will change about their usual delivery time. We just were hoping to get them sent on their way before the winter weather.

If we do have some ice-snow-sleet later, be sure to check this blog and on Facebook to see if we are open or not before you head out to shop!

We're scrambling...
to get all the January Super Sketch Club kits and the five February page and card club kits ready to ship before the snow-sleet-ice-who-knows storm hits on Tuesday. We've been slowed down on the Super Sketch Club waiting on a paper shipment, but we came in Sunday afternoon to get it packed so that we can ship on Monday. Since it sounds like everyone may be in for a driving mess for a couple of days mid-week, we're also trying hard to ship out the February kits on Monday if at all possible. I'm not promising, just letting you know that we are setting that as a goal!

Huge mistake...
My family let me know this morning that I made a mega-sized mistake in the February/March print newsletter that we just mailed out! On the calendar, I have two spots labeled as March 29, which as you all should know, is impossible. That means that our grand re-opening will not take place on Saturday, April 1, but Saturday, April 2!

Please make that adjustment on your calendar. We're ready to start signing people up for the special Super-Saver Scrapbooking sessions we'll be having that day!
