Fiskateer Rebecca is returning!

Remember our over-the-top sixth birthday celebration in 2010? Fiskateer Rebecca Peck was a huge part of the fun and success of that event, and we're thrilled to announce that she'll be returning to SG in just a few days for more fun!

Representing Fiskars, Rebecca will be doing demonstrations, teaching free mini-classes, and giving away lots of door prizes to those of you who can join us on Friday, September 14 from 6 - 8 pm. We'll add in some great sales, more door prizes, and our fabulous snack buffet.

Unavoidable shipping delay

We need to apologize to those of you who ordered the School Zone kit recently. Because of circumstances beyond our control, orders with those kits have not been shipped yet. Here's why...

• Later in the day that we released and started selling the kits, we discovered that one of the papers in the kit was missing from the company's shipment.
• We contacted the company and they were to send the missing packs of paper quickly.
• When the missing packs of paper finally arrived yesterday, the company had sent the wrong item.
• Yesterday, the company agreed to overnight the right items so we would get them today.
• Today, we discovered that the "overnighted" shipment won't arrive until Friday.
• The company has said it will overnight the correct items today and we will receive them on Thursday.

Unless something else goes wrong, orders with the School Zone kit will go out as soon as humanly possible. Our apologies to all of you who have been waiting patiently for your order.

Lindsey Amschler layout class for September

This Halloween Greetings layout class with Lindsey Amschler will be offered Saturday, September 22 at 1 pm. This class features the vintage paper styles and images, and highlights the gorgeous looks you can achieve by some creative cutting. The fee is $15, and yes, kits are available! September 'Card Party' class, second reveal

SG's Card Party class for September continues a great concept...three teachers, three cards, three tags, three stations, and three totally different approaches to cardmaking.

Today, we're showing you the card and tag that will be taught by Amy Roller. Amy is showcasing techniques and products that add sheen, sparkle, and glitz to your creations!

This is one-third of the projects you'll be making in the class. Katrina Hunt's projects will be shown in the days ahead, and the projects by Lindsey Amschler are in an earlier post.

This Card Party class takes place Thursday, September 13 at 6 pm. The fee is $15. To sign up, call 417-886-0440. This continues to be our most popular class. Hope you can join us!

Allison Davis classes for Scrap-a-Palooza

We have four of the five Allison Davis classes at Scrap-a-Palooza ready for you to check out. For the fifth class, with a Halloween theme, we're waiting for the paper collection to arrive so that Allison can made the model.

The classes will take place this Saturday, September 8 at Scrap-a-Palooza at Remington's event center here in Springfield. Registering for the classes prior to the event is much appreciated, although you may register at the event if there are any spots still available. Please call 417-866-0440 and we'll get you signed up for one or more of the classes.

These classes will also be available as kits for those attending Scrap-a-Palooza. Any remaining kits will be available for general sale in our online store at scrapbookgeneration.com the week following Palooza.

Debbie Sanders 'Super Saver' layouts for Saturday

We'll be making these three layouts Saturday, September 1 in the Debbie Sanders Super-Saver Scrapbooking sessions at Scrapbook Generation. As always, your cost to make these three layouts at SG is an amazing $9. (The retail value of the materials you'll be using is over $10.)
