Super-Saver layouts for January!

We'll be making these three layouts Saturday, January 5 in the Debbie Sanders Super-Saver Scrapbooking sessions at Scrapbook Generation. As always, your cost to make these three layouts at SG is an amazing $9. 

Give us a call at 417-886-0440 to register and pre-pay. Sessions are held at 10, 12:30 and 2:30.

And don't forget that starting January 2, we'll begin the "SG Loyalty" program, a new customer loyalty program that rewards people who shop in our Springfield store through a computerized point system.

When you reach $50 in purchases (excluding kit clubs, all classes which require pre-payment, and gift cards), a coupon for $5 off your purchase on a future day will be generated as part of your receipt. The coupon can be used to purchase anything at SG except kit clubs and gift cards.

We had a great day today in our first-ever "classroom sale" at SG.

Club and class changes simplified!

In trying to explain both the in-store and club changes together, I probably made it too complicated. Today, I'm going to split the two in hopes of making it more clear.

Saturday classes at SG...
• On the second Saturday of the month for over five years, we've been having the Debbie Sanders sketch sessions. On the third Saturday, the Allison Davis sketch sessions.

• Starting in January, on the second Saturday and the third Saturday, both Allison and Debbie will be designing sketches using the same set of papers.

• When you attend one of the sessions at SG (or are a local person who picks up a kit), you'll get both sketches -- free. You can choose which one you like best to make your page.

• Bottom line: instead of one free sketch on those two Saturdays, you'll get two.

Super Sketch Club...
• The Super Sketch Club is based on the three Saturday activities we do here at SG. The Super-Saver Scrapbooking portion of the club (three layouts and three sketches, cardstock, papers, and an embellishment) will remain the same.

• In addition to getting a Debbie Sanders sketch with two cardstocks, three papers and a sketch, you will now get a second free sketch, based on that group of papers, by Allison Davis.

• In addition to getting an Allison Davis sketch with two cardstocks, three papers and a sketch, you will now get a second free sketch, based on that group of papers, by Debbie Sanders.

• Bottom line about materials: nothing changes.
• Bottom line about price: nothing changes.
• Bottom line about sketches: two additional FREE sketches each month.
• Bottom line about what you need to do for this to happen: if you're already a club member -- nothing.


Options for Super Sketch Club members with this new format:
• Some of you may know that you'll always want to be able to make both the Debbie and Allison layouts each Saturday. Starting with January, you can enroll in Super Sketch Club Double Up. For an additional $10 ($30 per month instead of $20), you'll receive an extra set of identical materials for the Allison and Debbie portions of the club. (You would be able to make both Allison layouts and both Debbie layouts that will be shown on the blog each month.)

• Some of you may want to occasionally order extra materials so that you can make both the Debbie and Allison layouts from a particular Saturday. We will have a limited number of extra sets of paper available as add-ons online only. Once they are sold out, the option is unavailable.

• And last, we've heard your comments! Starting in January, we will offer an optional embellishment that coordinates with each of the Allison/Debbie papers. The embellishment will usually range from $1.99 to $5.99. The item(s) won't be used on the sample sketch layouts; they are offered for those who would like to add another level of interest and creativity to their pages. Again, there will be a limited number of embellishment add-ons available online only, and once they are sold out, the option is unavailable. (The SSC embellishment add-ons will not increase your shipping fee!)

December downloads are ready

We're a little off schedule on our download release. Stacey and Allison's grandfather died this afternoon, so we're doing the best we can under the circumstances.

I'm not going to list the usual descriptions because of time, but there are several new sketch items available to purchase in our online store. December's free downloadable sketch is also ready to go.

Allison has created another themed layout sketch/quote/title/embellishment/card bundle, priced at $10. This one is Christmas-themed, with lots of clever ways to make Christmas trees. Samples of the items are shown in the grid below.

Change is good!

We're making some changes, effective with January, to improve both our Saturday activities here at the store, and the Super Sketch Club.

NEW for both!
• No more Debbie Sanders sketch Saturday.
• No more Allison Davis sketch Saturday.

• They will both be replaced. The second Saturday of the month (and the second portion of the Super Sketch Club) will now be Sketch Day One. The third Saturday of the month (and the third portion of the Super Sketch Club) will now be Sketch Day Two. The materials will remain the same: two sheets of cardstock and three sheets of patterned paper. 

• Here's where it gets good! Sketch Day One and Sketch Day Two (and the corresponding portions of the SSC) will now have options. Great options! Debbie and Allison will now both be designing a sketch for both Saturdays. If you participate here at SG, or if you are a SSC member, you'll now receive TWO free sketches each Saturday (or in your kit). Choose to make the layout you like best!

• Bottom line. Super Sketch Club members will now receive two more sketches each month at NO EXTRA CHARGE. People who take the classes here at SG will now receive an additional sketch each Saturday at NO EXTRA CHARGE. (No action is necessary on your part -- we'll make this change to add more value with your January kits!) The Super-Saver Scrapbooking portion of the club, which is our first-Saturday-of-the-month activity here at SG, will remain unchanged.
