'Journey' mini-album class...

Lindsey Amschler joined the Card Party teaching staff a couple of months ago, and now we're thrilled to announce that she's also developing additional class projects to teach at SG. The first one, coming up on Wednesday, April 4, is the "Journey" mini-album.

The project has Lindsey's special vintage touches, which she definitely has a flair for. In addition to learning this particular project, you'll find out how to transform ordinary file folders into a memory-keeping dream.

We hope you can join Lindsey for this mini-album class on Wednesday, April 4, beginning at 1 pm. The fee is $20, and you can register by calling 417-886-0440. (And because I know many people will ask...yes, you can purchase this as a kit as well!)

Retreat openings for this weekend...

We just had a medically-related cancellation in the retreat for this weekend (March 16-18). We can take two more people (sharing a sleeping room), but would need to know, and receive payment, by 6 pm tonight.

Retreat reminders...

A couple of quick reminders for those of you who are attending our retreats in Branson.

Emails:

Paid classes:
Please remember that you must be signed up for the paid classes prior to the retreats. (The classes are also available as kits for those of you who don't want to cut into your cropping time! Kits must also be purchased prior to the retreats.)

Allison Davis sketch layout for March...

We'll be making the layout above in the Allison Davis free sketch sessions this Saturday. Your cost to make this layout? About $4. An awesome deal!

April's Card Party class...

SG's Card Party class for April will continue with a great concept...three teachers, three cards, three tags, three stations, and three totally different approaches to cardmaking.

Today, we're showing you the cards and tags that will be taught by Amy Roller (top photo) and Lindsey Amschler (bottom photo). Amy's projects always are based on an SG card sketch from the Sketch Support website, and Lindsey concentrates on vintage styles and techniques.

This is two-thirds of the projects you'll be making in the class. Katrina Hunt's projects will be shown in a later post.

This Card Party class takes place Thursday, April 12 at 6 pm. The fee is $15. To sign up, call 417-886-0440. This continues to be our most popular class, with almost 20 people participating each month!

People attending the retreats...
These are the four classes that will be offered at our two Branson retreats this month. Anyone who takes a class must enroll and pay prior to the retreat. Kits are also available to those attending the retreat, with the same process, enroll and pay prior to the retreat. Call 417-886-0440 (class seating at the retreat is limited, so it will be first come, first served!)

People NOT attending the retreats...
We learned our lesson last time! We have already ordered extra materials and are making kits of these four classes. They will be available at scrapbookgeneration.com on Monday, March 26, at the end of the second retreat. The number of kits will be determined by how many are left after the people attending the retreat have made their purchases. (If you are in the VIP shipping program, we'll be able to add one or more of these kits to your box at no extra charge, and if your total purchases in March exceed $125, everything will ship free!)

Spring retreat information...

Shopping:
It's almost time for our two spring retreats, and we're busy with the last minute details of Camp SG. We know there will be lots of "happy campers" when they find out that we'll have tons of new collections straight from CHA at both Branson retreats!

We'll have brand new collections from Fancy Pants, American Crafts, Pebbles, Little Yellow Bicycle, Pink Paislee, Trinity (a new company), Simple Stories, Echo Park, BasicGrey, October Afternoon, Three Bugs in a Rug, and Ruby Rock It, to name a few. And because we know you love it...we re-ordered every single piece of all the new My Mind's Eye collections, just for our retreat shoppers.

And wait until you see our surprise debut for the retreat...glitter tape (in every color and width imaginable) by American Crafts. It's my favorite kind of glitter! It stays where it's supposed to stay! If the ladies in the first weekend buy all of it (which would be quite a feat) I promise we'll re-stock for the second weekend. Oh, what the heck, I'll just go ahead and re-order it now!

Paid Classes:
Later this evening, or early Friday, I'll be posting the photos of the four retreat classes. Allison has hers done, and they're beautiful, of course. One of mine is done, and I'm putting the finished touches on the other one. A reminder: you must sign up for the paid classes prior to the retreat.

Timeless Treasures class...

Shirley Hall has created a lovely vintage page for her March Timeless Treasures class. The striking color combination and a heartwarming poem provide the perfect backdrop for a few priceless family photos. As always, Shirley has a few new techniques to share!

The class will be held Thursday, March 15 at 2 pm. The fee is $15, and you can register by calling 417-886-0440.
