How about a couple of contests?
We have a Facebook page for Scrap-a-Palooza, but not many of you have RSVP'ed. The number of spots left for the September 10 event is down in the double-digits, so we would like for all of you who are on Facebook and will be at the September 10 Palooza to go ahead and click on the "attending" button at the top of this page. To make it more interesting, leave a comment on the Palooza Facebook page (not the regular SG Facebook page) and answer the following question. We'll pick a random winner (and maybe a "great answer" winner!) for a $25 SG gift card you can spend at Palooza!

Contest #1: Facebook contest question: What makes Scrap-a-Palooza a great mega-crop? (Contest continues until midnight on Friday, September 9.)

Let's also have a blog contest! Leave a comment with this post, and answer the following question. We'll pick a random winner (and maybe a "great answer" winner) for a $25 SG gift card you can spend at Palooza.

Contest #2: Blog contest question: How would you describe Scrap-a-Palooza to someone who has never attended before? (Contest continues until midnight on Friday, September 9.)

Scrap-A-Palooza is all the scrapping good time you can cram into one day! It's a megastore just feet from your seat, it's layout classes from girls who wear sashes. It's contests and prizes in all shapes and sizes. It's fun and games for the luckies who came. But most of all, it's remembering and sharing our photos we love of our families who are caring!

Scrap-a-palooza is a scrapbooker's day-cation. It's a fun filled day of scrapbooking, shopping and socializing. And just when you think it couldn't get any better they bring out the Chocolate Fountain!

It is the biggest shop and scrap event in the mid-west!! You get 13 nearly uninterrupted hours of whatever crafty goodness you choose to do! The only interruptions you may have are those you won't mind! Moments filled with yummy food, awesome prizes, inspiration or even a relaxing massage..who wouldn't love those interruptions?

Scrapapolooza is a super fun day of uninterrupted scrapping with tons of ideas and goodies...and the food is neverending and outstanding. The Scrapbook Generation crew brings wonderful products for us to buy and their pages and card ideas are outstanding. A must attend for any scrapbooker!

Well, as you know, I tend to get a little wordy so I'll try to make it brief. I would tell them that it's the biggest and best paper crafting event in our area. Because you are free to scrapbook, make cards or do whatever you choose to do with your time. Of course, shopping and eating, eating and shopping and so on would have to be included also.
