Readers Gallery submissions for January...
Wow! Thanks so much for the great response to our first call for submissions for Scrapbook Generation's CREATE.
We received hundreds of layout and card projects from all over the United States, plus France, Scotland, Canada, Israel, The Netherlands, and Australia!
We'll notify you on or before Monday, Nov. 25 if your project will be published in the January issue, and ask you to submit a new photo that meets the specifications for the magazine.
And next week, we'll release the three sketches that we'll use for the submissions for the February issue. Then with the March issue and forward, the sketches to use will be published in the magazine, with a two-month delay. For example, the January issue will have the sketches for the March Readers Gallery.

Readers Gallery submission deadline is Nov. 20
Don't forget that the deadline for submitting layouts and cards for the
readers gallery of the January issue of Scrapbook Generation's CREATE is Wednesday, Nov. 20! Submissions are continuing to come in, but please keep them coming...we would like
to receive more, especially the double-page layouts and cards.
CREATE is a free digital download magazine that will launch in January in conjunction with SG’s expanded online store. Starting with the March 2014 issue, readers gallery submissions will be based on the four sketches featured in the magazine. January’s sketches will be used for the March gallery, February’s for the April gallery, and so on.
For the first two magazines, we’ve chosen other SG sketches to be used, shown here. Choices are single-page layout, double-page layout, or greeting card.

Website progress!
Over the weekend, we saw SG's new website and tested its features. We love it!
All of the items we wanted included to make your shopping experience smooth and pleasant are there, and we are extremely pleased with how all the parts work together.
So many other things to like, as well.
• The blog will be part of the website, so all SG information will be in one place for the first time.
• You'll be able to post your layouts and other projects to the gallery.
• There's a great mobile version of the website to use on your phone.
• You can create a wish list and keep it private, or make it public for family and friends.
• There's a fantastic reward program which will be unveiled along with the website.
• If needed, you can view the website in just about any language known to man.
Almost all the changes we need to make are cosmetic, so it looks like we are within a few weeks of having it ready to share with you.

How it works:
• Pre-register for sessions at 10am or 2pm by calling 417-886-0440;
• Bring basic tools and adhesives;
• Receive two free computer sketches;
• Make one double-page layout, your favorite of the two choices;
• Pay for papers used -- the total usually comes to a little over $4.
Options:
• If you want to make both the layouts from a particular Saturday, order a duplicate set of paper when you register. Order must be placed prior to the Saturday class.
• If you want to purchase the embellishment add-on (shown below), you can order it when you register. (This embellishment is not used on the layout samples shown above, but is offered for those of you who want to add another level of interest and creativity to your pages.) All embellishment add-on orders must be placed prior to the Saturday class.

• Purchase at scrapbookgeneration.com. (Not available for shipping or pick-up at SG until Monday, November 18.)
• The fee for a kit is $6, and is due at the time the request is made.

Readers Gallery call reminder...

CREATE will center around sketches and how to use them to best advantage, but will also feature other paper-crafting topics and articles. Best of all, we'll be bringing you inspiration from the top manufacturer's design teams every month as the team members show what they can do with the very latest paper collections and SG sketches. The first issue is projected to contain 120-150 pages!
Starting with the March 2014 issue, readers gallery submissions will be based on the four sketches featured in the magazine. January’s sketches will be used for the March gallery, February’s for the April gallery, and so on.
For the first two magazines, we’ve chosen other SG sketches to be used, shown here. Choices are single-page layout, double-page layout, or greeting card.
