Challenge #2: Project Life Challenge

PROJECT LIFE PROMPT:
Project Life is red-hot-right-now. The idea of documenting everyday life is intriguing, because the older you get, the more you realize that the little things tell the story of our lives so sweetly. As originated, Project Life “layouts” are “pieces and parts” tucked into divided page protectors. For this challenge, use your creative talents to use Project Life-type subjects and materials on a traditional (non-divided) one- or two-page layout. Materials you might try: title cards, journaling cards, quote cards, paper scraps, washi tape, personal memorabilia like programs or tickets...go capture the moment!

PRIZE:
• an assortment of Project Life-themed products
• one winner will be chosen at random

INSPIRATION & RECOGNITION:
• two to three layouts will be selected and featured on the SG blog sometime in May

HOW TO ENTER:
• in a comment on this blog post, link your layout (on your blog, in an online gallery, on Facebook, etc.)
• layout link must be provided by midnight (CST) on Sunday, May 5
• everyone is eligible to enter
• winner announced Monday, May 6
• if you are unable to link your project through any other method, send the layout in an email titled "Project Life challenge" to debbie@scrapbookgeneration.com

I can't believe no one has commented on this one yet! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's entry just for the ideas! I'm new to PL and I'm needing inspiration.

I'm not much of a Project Life scrapper but love the products! I used the 4X6 cards by Simple Stories for my layout posted on Facebook:

I hope I interpreted this challenge right. I used my SNAP PL supplies to make this page.

I had such a blast creating this layout for the challenge. It really made me think out of my box having to do a Project Life style layout without divide page protectors!

Here's my take - I used more of a subject that is everyday rather than just PL type products, though I love those too!

I'm happy I had some pictures picked out without much more planning, as it made it pretty easy for this challenge. Both of the accent papers at the emerge of the photos are actually PL cards! Now to actually use them in a divided page :)

This works really well when you have LOTS of photos! I got 18 on this 2-page layout. Paper is from Echo Park Photo Freedom.

I used some Simple Stories Harvest Lane for this. It came together so quickly I almost felt like I was cheating. It's the last layout in this post:
